Making a Referral
Our team is ready to work with you to provide the best clinical care for your patients.
Referrals can be made via:
- Our Modalis referral form
- Best Practice Software
- The Oqea platform
- A standard referral letter emailed to tms@modalis.com.au detailing the indication for TMS
Please note: Referrals from a Specialist are valid for 3 months. Referrals from a GP are valid for 12 months. Upon expiry of the referral, patients will be required to obtain a new referral.
Who should be referred?
Patients experiencing the following conditions may experience benefits from receiving MRI-guided Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS):
- Depression
- OCD
- PTSD
- Chronic pain
- Tinnitus
- Medical rehabilitation
For treatments other than depression, we offer TMS as a part of broader clinical interventions. This is either through safely treating affective coexisting/comorbid distress and/or directly targeting the primary neurological problems.
